The village is pretty small with one main street, but lots of smaller alleyways which hold many shops and restaurants, as well as low cost accommodation for surfers. As you would expect, there are quite a few surf shops and surf schools where you can hire boards and book lessons.

The village is still a working fishing village and fresh fish can be bought off the boats as they return from their fishing trips.

This small village is well worth a visit as it is only a short drive from Aourir – about 15Km straight up the N1 along the coastal road.
